Who we are

Welcome, to my website!
Hi, I’m Pheobe - a Glasgow-based jeweller creating energy through body adornment.

I began this journey around six years ago, and it still feels like a blessing to spend my time creating. What started as curiosity slowly became a practice that feels deeply connected to how I move through life.

My work is created using a mixture of wax carving, sandcasting, stone setting, forging, and sometimes a bit of chainmaille. Spirituality is a big part of my life, so naturally it finds its way into my practice. Each piece is made with intention and complete creative freedom.

I don’t like to think of this as a job, but as a way to create small pieces of beauty that people can admire or wear on their body and give their own meaning to. I never force creativity. When inspiration strikes, I sit down at my bench and see what ideas begin to unfold.

I feel most at peace when I’m carving wax. There’s something special about discovering the piece hidden inside the material and watching it slowly reveal itself, layer by layer. It feels a bit like therapy, quiet, focused, and grounding and I believe that calmness carries through into the pieces themselves. When I’m immersed in the wax, it almost feels like each piece is waiting to be unlocked.

All jewellery is handmade by me at my wee bench in Glasgow and each piece takes time to design and create… because of the methods I use, no two pieces are the same and have different natural textures. I’m a one woman band and sometimes life can get busy so some pieces might also take longer than others, but don’t worry, I’d never have you waiting longer than a month to get your piece to you.

I also accept commissions so if you have an idea of what you want and would like me to make it for you, feel free to send me a wee email and we’ll get something sorted.

Thanks for stopping by my page, I hope you find something to adore!

Lots of love,
RAE
